Why is reading important?
Reading is important because everything read no matter what it is or how long it makes you a little bit smarter. I read because I enjoy the stories books tell me (and the worlds they take me to (read inkspell by Cornial Funke for more info.)). Read is important so you can escape from a bad day and live someoneesles life. If you want to be a smart person or just like escaping from your life, into someone elses shoes read many, many, many books.
